Visit to Jaisalmer can not complete until we see Kuldhara and Khaba Fort in utskirts of Jaisalmer.
Kuldhara, 22 KM from is a abandoned 200 years ago. I think no where in India we can get this unique scene of hundreds of houses deserted. This was a rare experience to see and I think more I will not see except at this place.

Jaisalmer Fort – UNESCO World Heritage
This fort was declared UNESCO World Heritage in 2013. It is not magnificent and as glamourous as Mughal forts yet, it enjoys the privilege of being the one of the very few living forts in world. The streets are bustling with people and shops, houses owned hereditarily. The old parts are maintained very neat and enough space for tourists to enjoy the antiquity of period of maharajas. Do not miss to hire a guide and see Raja and Rani mahal.
Bikaner – Things To Do in 3 Days
They don’t have Taj Mahal, Brahdeshwar, pyramids and Petra, their history is also not very old- just 500-800 years yet if they are able to maintain high influx of tourists, is highly commendable. It reminds me that same way British are maintaining their monuments.
Junagarh Fort Bikaner – An Unconquered Fort
All your expenditure to visit Bikaner is justified if you see Junagarh fort. It depicts the life of kings those days, their relations with Mughals and British, their living style and taste of rooms. The picture gallery, Ganga singh gallery and prachin museum inside the fort are enough to know Rajasthan. After seeing we have to meditate on what we saw and what was their importance as a visitor or history lover.
Chittorgarh Fort – One Thousand year old UNESCO World Heritage
This fort construction ranges from 8th century AD to 16th century. The fort is worth seeing. Really speaking it is the best forts I saw of its period if we compare with Kalinjar or Ranthambore. Amer fort was built much later. I reached Chittorgarh on March 24th 11 AM. Took rest after check in. In […]
