This particular City Palace belongs to kingdom of Mewar (Rana Pratap land). I think among all states of India, Rajasthan is unique with maximum heritages in form of forts, temples, havelis, lakes and royal cenotaphs. The people of Rajasthan still acknowledge, adore and remember their kings and titular kings as I noticed in visitors in forts and museums.

Thanks to ASI department that we can NOT identify about 80% of buildings in this fort. The information is poorly shared. The fort was like a puzzle presented to visitor by ASI. Disappointingly there is no description for Kumbha Mahal, Suraj Devri, Tedda bari, Bandh etc. Even visitors can not easily identify Maharana Pratap birthplace building for which they have come from so far. No proper idea is there how far is Prithviraj ki Chhatri, Bavan Devri, Langan Devri.

Built 500 years ago during period of Rana Kumbha, king of Mewar, this is a top masterpiece Jain temple dedicated to Lord Adinath.

Two days are enough to see Ajmer but I can say visit to Rajasthan can not be said to be completed until you see Ajmer. Ajmer is a religious city for all sects. The city is clean and blend of old and modern. The terrain is hilly and green.
