Three hundred years old fort Jaigarh Fort and just 3 square KM in area, is a small fort and main attraction here is “World’s Largest Cannon on Wheel” onlyThis fort was built by Raja Jai Singh II in 1726 to protect Amer Fort. This fort was used as a cannon foundry by Shah Jahan as the air sucked into furnaces will give rise to high temperature as 2400 degrees.

My 10 days Itinerary

Plan All Journeys by Train only – Agra-Mathura-Sawai Madhopur-jaipur-chittoegarh

I have one day only and there are many points to be covered in Jaipur so rightly I thought to book the RTDC one day tour for next day. Their charge is Rs.300 for 9 AM to 5 PM tour. Hotel booking link is https://rtdc.tourism.rajasthan.gov.in/Client/HotelList.aspx

Jaipur RTDC Hotel Gangaur – This hotel is just about 1 KM from railway station. You can take hand rickshaw. The hotel is satisfactory. South and North Indian breakfast is good and restaurant and service is also good.

The RTDC bus came on exact time. I was happy to see that they did not wait for people who were late. The first point they showed us was Birla Temple which is made completely of marble.
